Elegant earrings based on a unique piece of jewelry that JB Blunk made in 1975 for his wife, Christine Nielson. Crafted by Tess Young, the earrings feature two interlocking recycled 18K gold hoops and a perfectly spherical sliding bone bead.

Blunk began making jewelry in 1954 at Palos Verdes College in Los Angeles where he taught ceramics.He continued to make one-off pieces throughout his life from his studio in Inverness, California.
