Blunk Disc Earrings

$590.00

Earrings based on a unique piece of jewelry that JB Blunk made in 1980 for his wife, Christine Nielson, featuring solid turquoise discs with recycled 14K gold hooks that are intentionally mismatched and crafted by Tess Young.

Blunk began making jewelry in 1954 at Palos Verdes College in Los Angeles where he taught ceramics – he continued to make one-off pieces throughout his life from his studio in Inverness, California.

Packaging designed by Kajsa Ståhl of Åbäke.
